PART OF YOUR KITCHEN FEELS NEW
THE REST OF IT DOESN’T
You may have just bought a home or investment property, or you’re turning over a unit, and the kitchen simply isn’t your cup of tea.
You don’t necessarily have to replace everything to make the room feel like it belongs together.

ALREADY WORKING
Maybe you’ve replaced the appliances, updated the lighting, installed new flooring or invested in new countertops, but something still feels unfinished.
A kitchen refresh starts by looking at what you already have, what you’d like to change and what you’d like to keep. From there, we can offer recommendations and help you determine which updates will bring the room closer to what you have in mind.
Some improvements may also be part of a longer term plan. New countertops may be next year’s project, or the ones you have may be perfectly fine. Today’s refresh can work with what you’re keeping now while considering what you may want to change later.
The goal isn’t to change something simply because it’s there. It’s to identify the updates that can make the entire room feel more intentional and cohesive.
PAINTING YOUR CABINETS
CAN CHANGE THE WHOLE ROOM
Builder grade finishes, worn surfaces, grease, scratches and outdated colors can make otherwise serviceable cabinets feel older than the rest of the kitchen.
Painting the cabinetry can dramatically change the room without automatically replacing cabinets that are still in good condition.
And every cabinet doesn’t necessarily have to become the same color.
Keeping lighter upper cabinets while introducing color on the lower cabinets can add contrast. An island can become an accent in sage green, navy or another color that connects the kitchen to finishes and colors already used throughout the home.
The right change can help the kitchen feel like part of the house rather than a room designed separately from it.

IS WHAT’S HOLDING THE ROOM BACK
A backsplash occupies a relatively small part of the kitchen, but changing it can have a significant visual impact.
Removing an existing tile backsplash can also damage the drywall behind it. Depending on the existing installation and condition of the wall, removing the affected drywall with the old backsplash and replacing that section can provide a sound, flat surface for the new installation.
That means the finished backsplash starts with what’s behind it, not just the tile you see.
NEW HARDWARE
BIG DIFFERENCE
Replacing basic knobs or dated cabinet hardware with new pulls can give existing cabinetry a noticeably different character.
But new hardware doesn’t always use the existing holes.
When the new hardware requires different spacing, the unused holes can be filled and prepared for a smooth finish. A hardware template and laser level help establish consistent placement and alignment across cabinet doors and drawers.
It’s a small detail.

EVERYTHING SHOULD
FEEL LIKE IT BELONGS TOGETHER
A successful refresh isn’t simply a collection of new finishes.
Cabinet colors, island accents, backsplash, hardware, countertops, flooring, appliances, lighting and adjoining spaces all influence how the finished kitchen feels.
We look at what’s staying, what you’re changing and how those decisions work together, while protecting the surrounding surfaces, keeping the work area organized and cleaning up as the project progresses.
